Through our partnership, you can pursue an advanced degree in Interdisciplinary Psychedelic Care by successfully completing The Synthesis Institute's comprehensive digital and experiential training programs, which include:
- The 13-month Psychedelic Practitioner Core Training
- The Immersion Apprenticeship program
- The 1-year Practicum program
In addition, you will engage in Ubiquity University's coursework and dissertation writing, ensuring a well-rounded and robust educational experience.

The Path to a Master of Arts (MA) or Doctorate (PhD) in Interdisciplinary Psychedelic Care
To earn a Master of Arts (MA) in Interdisciplinary Psychedelic Care, students must complete the following:
1. The Synthesis Psychedelic Practitioner Core Training
2. The Synthesis Immersion Apprenticeship retreat program (at Level 1 or Level 2 depending on prior experience)
3. The Synthesis Practicum program
4. Ubiquity University's “Creative Journey to Dissertation” coursework (4 credits)
5. Dissertation Writing phase with Advisor (10 credits)
To earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Interdisciplinary Psychedelic Care, students must complete the following:
1. The Synthesis Psychedelic Practitioner Core Training
2. The Synthesis Immersion Apprenticeship retreat program (at Level 1 or Level 2 depending on prior experience)
3. The Synthesis Practicum program
4. Ubiquity University's “Creative Journey to Dissertation” coursework (4 credits)
5. Ubiquity University's Core Course: Great Books (3 credits)
6. Chartres Academy Pilgrimage (In-person or Virtual) (4 credits)
7. Dissertation Writing phase with Advisor (36 credits)
To earn an MA/PhD in Interdisciplinary Psychedelic Care, students must complete the following:
1. The Synthesis Psychedelic Practitioner Core Training
2. The Synthesis Immersion Apprenticeship retreat program (at Level 1 or Level 2 depending on prior experience)

Admissions Criteria
- Applicant must be 18 years or older.
- Applicant must have obtained the educational degree previous to the one they are applying for [e.g. you must have a bachelors (or equivalent) to pursue an MA, a masters (or equivalent) to pursue a PhD, or at least a bachelors (or equivalent) to pursue an MA/PhD].
- Applicant must be beyond beginner fluency with writing, speaking and reading English.
- Applicant must be willing to participate in a small group learning container.
- Applicant must demonstrate a level of maturity and readiness to show up and engage with the course content, discussions and assignments.
- Applicant must commit to adherence to the training’s shared agreements, including ethical and respectful professional conduct.
- Enrollment is contingent upon the return of a signed Training Service Agreement.
- There is no fee to apply for The Synthesis Institute’s programming.

The total price ranges for each degree track are as follows:
MA: $20,994 - 26,997
Synthesis fees: 15,994 - $21,997 *depending on one’s chosen path
Ubiquity fees: $5,000

*The price range for Synthesis is due to a range of factors determined by how the student chooses to move through the program. For example, our registration price for the Psychedelic Practitioner Core Training varies through registration discount periods, the price for the Immersion Apprenticeship is dependent on if the student joins the retreat at Level 1 or Level 2, and the Practicum price range is dependent upon the costs of the practicum site that the student chooses to apprentice with.
Application Process:
1. Complete and submit your application for the Psychedelic Practitioner Core Training and schedule your required Admissions Call.
2. Upon successful completion of your Admissions Call, you will be invited to complete our Health Screening process for our Immersion Apprenticeship retreat.
3. After a successful health screening process and registration into the Core Training, you will receive a Proof of Enrollment from The Synthesis Institute in which you will provide to Ubiquity University to register for, and begin, your degree program in Interdisciplinary Psychedelic Care.
